In a bid to diversify our activities and to
intensify interaction with academic institutions and to augment techno-education base of
the country as a whole, NITRA offers it’s library & information service to the
students, faculty and researchers of various colleges and institutions through
participation in “Centre for Academic Partnership Scheme (CAPS)". Institutions
interested to avail this unique service may obtain membership at a nominal admission fee
of Rs. 5,000/- only. Apart from this, a
nominal sum of Rs. 100/- per year will be charged to the individual user to issue his/her
library card.
Facilities will cover the following:
i)
Loan of books, periodicals and other relevant documents from our stock of
contemporary techno-literature.
ii)
Photocopy facility at a very nominal & subsidised charges.
iii)
Free Internet browsing facility as per
NITRA library rules.
iv)
In house viewing of self instructional videos on textile and allied subjects.
v)
Discount on purchase of NITRA publications as per NITRA rules.
vi)
Free circulation of NITRA house journals to broaden users’ techno-vision.
vii)
Less
enrolment fee in workshop, seminar, conference and training programmes organised by NITRA.
viii)
Free
attendance to lecture session by National/International level speakers at NITRA auditorium
arranged from time to time.
ix)
Visit to most sophisticated and state-of-art laboratories of NITRA on special
request.

Loan facility through e-mail will be starting shortly.
