Dr. J. Venkata Rao, Director NITRA is an M. Tech (Textile Technology) Ph. D and alumni IIT, Delhi. He has been to academies for 35 years and guided around 85 projects in Ph. D, M. Tech, B. Tech level and a regular contributor to national / international journals of repute. He had a number of overseas visits in top European and Asian countries to address seminars & conferences and applied for Indian / European patent for different works. A dynamic leader and a scholar researcher, Dr. J.V. Rao is presently in the process of publishing a comprehensive look christened 'Chemical Processing of Cotton Knits for the benefit of textile industries.
