• Dr. J. V.Rao and Mr. N. N. Sharma attended Tex-Summit 2007 organized by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 30 – 31 August 2007.   

• NITRA conducted training program for Checkers of Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mils, Rishabhdeo, during August 2007

• Mr. A. K. Jain and Mr. R. K. Saini attended a workshop on “Adoption of Energy Efficient Process Technology and Energy Management Practices in Automobile Sector” organized by IGEN, Delhi, during the reported period. 

• Mr. Sanjeev Saxena attended a seminar on “Energy Conservation” organized by NTPC, Delhi, during the reported period.

• NITRA conducted a training program on “Environment Ecology” at BEISP, Bangladesh, during the reported period.

• NITRA conducted a training program on “Defect Analysis” at Radnik Export, during the reported period.

• NITRA conducted a training program on “Defect Analysis” at OGTC, Okhla, during the reported period.

• NITRA conducted advance level training program for sr. officers of Department of Environment, Govt. of Bangladesh on “Assessment of Effluent Treatment Plant for Treatment of Effluent Generated by Textile Processing Industries”, at Dhaka during 29-30^th November 2007.

• NITRA conducted a workshop on “Effluent Treatment Plant” for representatives of textile-processing industries at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 31^st Nov. to 1^st Dec.07

• Mr. Vikas Sharma, Mrs. Manju, Mr. Partha Basu, Mr. Jaswant Jadav and Mr. V. Satyanarayan represented NITRA Pavilion at North India Garment Fair at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during 23-26^th Dec.2007.   

• Dr. A. A. Ansari and Sh. Swami Saran attended a 1-day seminar on “High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography” organized by M/s. Anchrom at Hamdard University, Delhi.
