Seam pucker is a fault most commonly encountered by garment manufacturers. It reduces the value of finished product since appearance of seam is critical for the buyer. "Puckering is a disruption in the original surface area of sewn fabric and gives a gathered and wrinkled effect along the line of the seam, in an otherwise smooth fabric". This booklet describes:
